Programs

Philagrafika programs promote and sustain the printed image as a vital and valued art form and increase Philadelphia's presence as an international center for the printed image. The centerpiece program is Philagrafika 2010, an international quadrennial of the printed image. The quadrennial itself will include exhibitions and programs that will take place throughout the city, begin as early as 2008, and involve both local and international artists, arts professionals and the public.

In addition to the quadrennial, Philagrafika offers programming in intervening years that:

  1. Explore issues related to the printed image and its impact on contemporary culture
  2. Create opportunity for local artist and print shops
  3. Cultivate a network of organizations and individuals who support the printed image
